Piotr Drobek
Piotr Drobek – Advisor of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office
Lawyer, graduated from the University of Warsaw. Since 2000, he has been working for the Polish Data Protection Authority in various positions, including deputy head of the Social Education and International Co-operation Department and head of the Analysis and Strategy Department. He is an advisor to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office and a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
Co-author of commentaries on the General Data Protection Regulation (ed. Wolters Kluwer 2018); Act of 10 May 2018 on personal data protection (ed. Wolters Kluwer 2019); E-commerce, Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, Platform-to-business Regulation (C.H. Beck 2024); and Digital Services Act (Wolters Kluwer 2024).
He is a co-founder of the Panoptykon Foundation, chairman of its council, and founding member of the Croatian-Polish Scientific Network.
